Alexandre Vauthier joined Thierry Mugler's studio at the end of his studies, in which he discovered the architecture of the garment, its rigor and its requirement. He then became head designer of Jean-Paul Gaultier's couture collection, an experience that lasted eight years and reinforced his desire to fully express himself in his maison.
His professional collaborations in Japan, his numerous trips to the United States, enrich his creative universe and offer him the beginnings of a first collection. In January 2009, Alexandre Vauthier created his brand under his own name.
The radical nature of the cuts, the rigor and precision that characterize them, anchor his style to the French fashion culture and the Anglo-Saxon influences that inspire him. Supported by the press, couture clients and international celebrities, his creative universe is full of collaborations in different artistic universes: ready-to-wear, stage costumes, perfumes, music and interior architecture.
The GEDEBE brand was born in April 2010, created by Giuseppe Della Badia, a 36-year-old Neapolitan stylist.
Graduated in law but always been in love with fashion and craftsmanship: very talented in embroidering stones and crystals where he intelligently mixes textures, fabrics and colors.
A working experience in haute couture has allowed him to start his collection that blends his qualities and creative abilities with the best Italian skins and artisan traditions.
This is what Gedebe is, a unique piece: a hand-embroidered leather bracelet with crystals and stones, embellished with studs and finished with a silk bow.
Gedebe is a sophisticated and innovative mix that gives uniqueness to this rich yet minimal jewel.
